Maryann Karinch is the author of 28 books and an experienced skydiver, whitewater kayaker, and scuba diver. She is one of the few women to have completed the inaugural Eco-Challenge, which required proficiency in technical climbing, whitewater rafting, canyoneering, and desert survival. She is an ACE-certified personal trainer and member of The Explorer’s Club.
