Backpacker’s Pantry Vegan Spaghetti and Sauce is a delicious backpacking meal all ages will love. Organic non-gmo soy protein bumps up the protein to 22 grams per hearty serving. So tasty you don’t need cheese but if that’s your thing it never hurts so bring it along. This Spaghetti and Sauce is red checkered table cloth & Chainti worthy but we will leave that up to you.

All you need is one and one quarter cups of boiling water per one cup of dry mix and 10-15 minutes hydration time to make an easy to prepare, no-mess meal for two. PASTA (DURUM SEMOLINA (ENRICHED WITH NIACIN, FERROUS SULFATE, THIAMINE MONONITRATE, RIBOFLAVIN AND FOLIC ACID)), SAUCE (TOMATO, ORGANIC TEXTURED SOY PROTEIN, ONION, GARLIC, BROWN SUGAR, SALT, BELL PEPPER, BASIL, OREGANO, PARSLEY, CRUSHED RED CHILI PEPPER, FRUCTOSE (FROM CORN), BLACK PEPPER)

CONTAINS: Soy, Wheat, and Gluten

Preparation and Storage

TO PREPARE 1 CUP DRY MIX:

  1. Remove oxygen absorber from contents and discard
  2. Thoroughly mix contents
  3. Add 1 1/4 cup (300mL) of boiling water to 1 cup of dry ingredients
  4. Stir well, fully submerging ingredients
  5. Cover and let sit for 13 minutes
  6. Stir and serve

PREPARING THE ENTIRE CAN

  1. Remove oxygen absorber from contents and discard
  2. Thoroughly mix contents
  3. Add 13 3/4 cups (3.2L) of boiling water to dry ingredients
  4. Follow steps 4 through 6 above

PLEASE NOTE: Check the can before consumption to ensure there are no punctures.
