Description
The Redde R1 provides long-duration backup power without the noise, exhaust, and routine maintenance associated with traditional standby generators. This solid oxide fuel cell works with compatible battery systems, automatically monitoring the battery and turning on only when additional power is needed. Once the battery reaches its set threshold, the R1 shuts back down.
Powered by propane or natural gas, the R1 can provide weeks of backup power, able to operate for more than 50 days on a standard 250-gallon propane tank, while natural gas provides continuous fuel availability. Up to 30โ32 kWh of energy per day and operates at just 42 dBA at 23 feetโquieter than a typical refrigerator.
