Powerful

The Sol-Ark 12k can take up to 16kW of PV power and outputs 12kW of continuous power. This solar inverter is a combined output, so the power is distributed simultaneously to your battery bank, AC loads, and to the grid for sell-back. Up to 9.6 kW can be directed to the grid/AC loads, while the remaining power is used to charge batteries that you may have. 

Additionally, the Sol-Ark 12k has gains capabilities, up to 6 systems (72kw)! Providing you with true 208 power with 3 inverters. This is great news for people interested in commercial solar. 

Most residences typically do not need the amount of power the 12k can provide, but it is perfect for off-grid and big gains systems.

All-in-one

Perhaps our favorite characteristic of Sol-Ark inverters is that is an all-in-one smart system. The Sol-Ark 12k is a pre-wired system that requires no fuses, combiners, or breakers, keeping your installation simple and low-cost. Flexibile

The Sol-Ark 12k can be used on grid-tie, hybrid, and off-grid systems. This means you can install the Sol-Ark for a grid-tie system and have the option to easily add a battery back-up when you are ready. If you already have an existing grid-tie system, you can AC Couple the Sol-Ark 12k and retrofit it to a battery bank.

Unlike most other inverters, the flexible Sol-Ark is not limited to a single type of battery. We informally call this being “battery agnostic”. The Sol-Ark 12k inverter works with the widest variety of 48V battery chemistries, from lead to lithium ion. 

And as mentioned before, the Sol-Ark 12k is expandable up to 6 systems gains. Your options and applications are limitless!
